Comenzamos a montar la obra EL LUGAR DONDE DUERME EL SOL en español



GROUP SUDAMERIKAN ART is a company formed by two Chilean artists who made Aliyah nine months ago, and after receiving acara ke umanut from the Department of Art of the Ministry of Absorption, they created this first puppet play using an original esthetic language. After their artistic and theatrical experience in Chile, they look for repeatheir experiences, connection and sensibility with the audience, either adults or children, around universal subjects promoting values and making the audience to become aware of them.

 WHO WE ARE
Andrea Markovits, Chilean actress - performer and playwright, Teacher of Special Education and Dramatherapist (Universidad de Chile).  She had an important career in acting direction in academic teaching and artistic interventions with diversity groups through projects sponsored by the Chilean Ministry of Culture, VIVOPOSITIVO CHILE and the Global Fund, with people with intellectual disability, women and children with HIV/AIDS, female inmates and blind people in Bolivia. Among her works, she wrote and directed Trilogía de la Tolerancia (Trilogy of the Tolerance) staged in Chile between 2005 and 2010.  In 2006, her company Laboratorio de Sueños got the first prize in the contest Buenas Prácticas por el Respeto a la Tolerancia y la Diversidad (Good practices for the respect of tolerance and diversity) organized by the General Secretary of the Chilean Government.

Polo Fernández, Chilean sculptor and painter, teacher of Philosophy and Spanish Language. He developed his professional career in plastic arts as sculptor and set designer where created different designs for stage and dramatic performances, among them in the company Laboratorio de Sueños and La Ironía Teatral. He also worked as a school teacher and in workshops of art and integration through projects sponsored by the Chilean Ministry of Culture and Arts, VIVOPOSITIVO CHILE and the Global Fund.
